This tutorial will show you how to make the red and white Christmas ball ornament. The pattern is not too complicated if you are familiar with the magic ring, single crochets and color changes. If you are interested in making the blue and white ornament, the tutorial for it will added here soon. I used Paton Grace yarn to make my ornaments, however, most light weight (3) yarns should work as well. Yarns of different weights should work too, but the size of the ornament will be different. I added a small bell to the inside of my ornaments with the poly-fil stuffing so they make a jingling noise when shaken, however, this is totally optional. If you do not have small bells or don’t want noisy ornaments leave them out.
